To make turmeric potato mask, you need 2 tablespoons of fresh potato juice. To make this potato juice, you can grate fresh potato and squeeze out the juice. Add in a teaspoon or so of wild turmeric powder and mix it well. Apply this juice on your facial skin or on areas where you have pigmentation. Let it sit for 30 minutes and wash it off.

Turmeric Serum

To make turmeric serum, add a teaspoon of jojoba or sweet almond oil to 2 tablespoons of commercial aloe vera gel. Mix until it is well emulsified and add in few drops of turmeric essential oil. Mix it again and your turmeric serum is ready. Add a pinch of wild turmeric powder if you like and use this as a nighttime serum.

Turmeric Face Oil

To make turmeric face oil, add a pinch of turmeric powder to 2 tablespoons of jojoba oil and mix it well. Add in a teaspoon of sweet almond oil and few drops of rose essential oil. Mix it well and transfer this to an easy-to-use drop a bottle. Use it as a face oil.

Turmeric rose mist

To make turmeric rose mist, you need to grate fresh turmeric root and add a tablespoon of it to 2 cups of filtered water. Add and handful of rose petals and simmer it with a lid for 10 minutes. Let the water cool down and strain this liquid. Your turmeric rose facial mist is ready. Use it throughout the day.

Turmeric Night Cream

To make turmeric night cream, you need to add a pinch of wild turmeric powder and a pinch of saffron strands to 2 tablespoons of commercial aloe vera gel. Mix it well and add in a teaspoon of melted shea butter as well. Mix until it is well emulsified and transfer to an easy to use jar. Use it as a night cream.

Turmeric Scrub

To make turmeric facial scrub, you need 3 tablespoons of fine sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of wild turmeric powder and enough sweet almond oil. Mix it all together and your face scrub is ready. Transfer this to an easy to use jar and use this three times a week at least.

Turmeric Licorice Mask

To make this face mask, you need equal quantities of liquor rice powder and wild or white turmeric powder. Add in enough rose water or milk to make a paste. Apply this on the pigmented areas or on your entire face if you like and let it sit for 15 minutes before you wash it off.

Turmeric Ubtan

To make turmeric ubtan, mix together equal quantities of rose petal powder, rice flour and wholewheat flour. Add in a few teaspoons of wild turmeric powder and store it in an airtight container. To use, take a small quantity of this prepared powder in a bowl and add in enough rose water or milk to make a paste. Use this to scrub and use it as a face mask as well.

Turmeric Skin Gel

To make anti pigmentation turmeric skin gel, add a pinch of wild turmeric to 4-5 tablespoons of aloe vera gel. Also add in few drops of your favorite essential oil and store it in a jar. Use this on your face daily.

Turmeric Spot Treatment

You can directly use turmeric powder mixed with rose water on the pigmented areas of your skin as a spot treatment. Use a Q tip to apply this on the affected areas and let it sit for 30 minutes. Wash it off and pat dry.

NOTE-

  • Results are never instant, you need to stick to a routine for a longer period for it to work.
  • Do not use regular kitchen turmeric, you have to use wild or white turmeric only.
