Using home-made face masks is my all-time favorite beauty ritual and I do it at least twice a week. Home-made face masks are the simplest and can be totally customized according to your skincare needs. Sometimes it can get a little messy and you wouldn’t always be able to find all the ingredients necessary. Well, here are super easy face mask recipes that only need two ingredients! Below are 2-ingredient face mask recipes I highly recommend you try out –

Tomato & Yogurt- Dark Spots

Tomato and yogurt make a great combination for skin that is pigmented and have dark spots. Mix together a tablespoon of tomato pulp and a tablespoon of thick Greek yogurt. Mix it well and apply it evenly on your facial skin and neck. Massage for a few minutes and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash it off and pat dry.

Turmeric & Honey- Beautiful Glow

Turmeric and honey both are great to even out your skin tone and also has a beautiful glow. Makes it a great mask for acne prone skin as well. Mix together enough quantity of wild turmeric powder and honey to make a spreadable paste. Apply it evenly on your facial skin and neck and it set for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse it off and pat dry.

Potato & Milk- Pigmentation

Potato and milk both have anti pigmentation and brightening properties. Milk also helps moisturize the skin. You can mix together equal quantities of fresh potato juice and milk. Freeze it into ice cubes and massage this on your facial skin. Let the residue sit for 15 to 20 minutes and wash it off.

Avocado & Milk Cream- Dry Skin

Avocado and milk cream or great ingredients for dry skin and they have amazing moisturizing properties. Mix together 2 tablespoons of fresh avocado pulp and a teaspoon or so of milk cream. Mix it well until it is smooth and apply it on your facial skin and neck. Massage it for a few minutes and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse it off and pat dry.

Orange Peel & Rose Water- Sun Tan

Orange peel and rosewater is great for tanned and dull skin. This mask is especially good if you have sun damaged skin. And all you need to do is add enough rose water to orange peel powder to make a spreadable paste. Apply this evenly on your facial skin and neck and let it sit for 30 minutes. Rinse it off and pat dry.

Cucumber & Peppermint- Oily to Combination Skin

Cucumber and peppermint are great ingredients for combination to oily skin. All you need to do is add few drops of fresh pepper mint juice or peppermint essential oil to fresh cucumber juice. Stir and apply this on your facial skin using a cotton pad or cotton ball. Let it sit for 30 minutes and rinse it off.

Milk & Honey- Brighten & Nourish

Milk and honey both are great skin brightening ingredients that helps lighten suntan and pigmentation and also even out skin tone. Simply add a teaspoon of raw organic honey to 2 to 3 teaspoons of milk. Apply this milk and honey solution on your facial skin using a cotton ball or cotton pad and let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes before you wash it off.

Rose & Aloe- All Skin Types

Rose and aloe vera gel are great ingredients for all skin types and it adds beautiful glow to the skin and also helps fight acne. Simply blend together a few rose petals and some fresh aloe vera gel. Apply this on your facial skin and neck with a brush or a cotton pad and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Wash it off and pat dry.

Mint & Green Tea- Anti-Acne

Mint and green tea are great skin detoxing ingredients and it helps keep skin clear and has nourishing properties. Simply simmer a handful of mint leaves and some green tea leaves in half cup water until it is reduced to half. Apply this on your facial skin and let it sit for an hour or so before you rinse it off. Alternatively, you can also use matcha green tea powder and mix it with some mint juice.

Bentonite Clay & ACV- Skin Detox

Bentonite clay and apple cider vinegar are great ingredients for skin detoxing and also it helps unclog pores and keep skin clear. All you need to do is add enough apple cider vinegar to bentonite clay powder and use it as a 10 minute face mask.

NOTE-

  • Always patch test beforehand to make sure you aren’t allergic to any of the ingredients or products.
  • Stick to a routine for a longer period for it to work.
