Golden Milk

Turmeric uses aren’t limited to beauty! Golden milk or turmeric milk is a great healing drink and also helps boost immunity. To make this golden milk, add half cup of milk in a saucepan and put it on medium heat. Add in a teaspoon of cooking turmeric, a pinch of black pepper powder and enough honey. Let it simmer for a few minutes and turn off the flame. Pour it in a serving glass and sip on it slowly.

Anti-Acne

If you have acne prone skin, you can use a mixture of wild turmeric and rose water as a 10 minute face mask. Also add in few drops of tea tree essential oil for added benefits.

Scalp Acne

For scalp acne, you can make a scalp spray. You need 2 medium-sized turmeric fresh roots and one cup of water. Cut thin slices of turmeric root and put it into the water. Let it simmer on medium flame for five minutes and turn off the flame. Strain and pour this water into a spray bottle. Spray it on your scalp after hair wash.

Turmeric Tea

To make turmeric tea that has immunity boosting and healing properties, simply add a pinch of cooking turmeric to 1 cup of warm water along with some honey. You can also squeeze in few drops of lemon juice if you like and have this.

Skin Glow

Turmeric can add a beautiful glow to your skin. You only need to add a pinch of wild turmeric powder to 1 cup of water along with few drops of lavender essential oil. Use this as a facial mist throughout the day.

Body Acne

If you have a body acne, you can make this multi-purpose scrub and mask ubtan. Simply mix together 2 tablespoons each of rose petal powder, orange peel powder and a teaspoon of wild turmeric powder. Mix and store this in an airtight container. Mix it with little milk or rose water and use it as a scrub and mask for your body and face.

Anti-Pigmentation

If you have pigmentation, you can cut a tomato into half and dip it into wild turmeric powder. Massage this on your facial skin or on areas where you have pigmentation. Let it sit for 10 minutes and wash it off. Do this 3 to 4 times a week.

Body Odor

If you suffer from body odor, you can make your own body mist that can help control odor and also help with body acne. Simply add a pinch of wild turmeric powder to half cup of rose water along with seven drops of lavender essential oil. Add in few more drops of eucalyptus oil too. Transfer this to a spray bottle and shake it well. Use it as a body mist after a shower.

Brightening

You can add a teaspoon of wild turmeric powder to 1/3 cup of Greek yogurt. Mix it really well and apply it on your face and body both. Let it sit for 10 minutes and wash it off. Best done before a shower.

Dark Spots

If you have dark spots, you can mix together 2 teaspoons of orange peel powder and 1 teaspoon of wild or white turmeric powder. Add in enough milk to make a paste and use it as a 30 minute mask.

Dry Skin

If you have dry skin and want to make a nourishing and healing mask, simply add a teaspoon of wild turmeric powder to 1/3 cup of fresh avocado pulp. Mix it well and apply it on your facial skin and neck. Can also be used on the body. Let it sit for 20 minutes and wash it off.

Oily Skin

If you have oily skin, grate a small cucumber and squeeze out all the juice. Add in a pinch wild turmeric and apply it on your facial skin using a cotton pad or cotton ball. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes and wash it off.

Exfoliate

To make a gentle face and body scrub, add a tablespoon of wild turmeric powder to 1/3 cup of rolled oats. Add in enough rose water or Greek yogurt to make a paste and use it as a face and body scrub twice or thrice a week.

Dark Circles

If you have dark circles, you can make this eye pad to gradually improve the overall look of your eye area. Add a pinch of wild turmeric powder to 2 to 3 teaspoons of fresh potato juice. Add in cotton pads and let it soak all the solution. Place it under your eyes for 15 to 20 minutes.

Hair Growth

To boost hair growth, add a pinch of turmeric to 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Pour in one cup of water and mix it all well. Use it as a last hair rinse and rinse it off with plain water after 10 minutes.
