Green Tea Hydrosol-

Green tea contains catechins. Catechins are nothing but natural antioxidants that help reduce free radicals and reduce their damage. Also helps in detoxing the skin and keeps it clean and clear.

Wild Turmeric

Wild turmeric is a powerful antioxidant and it also has great anti-inflammatory properties. Along with this, it also has skin brightening and healing properties which makes this a great skincare ingredient. Use only wild turmeric and not the cooking turmeric to prevent staining.

Carrot Seed Oil

Carrot seed oil has great amount of vitamin E that has anti-ageing effects and is a well-known antioxidant. Helps reduce scars and repairs and damage. Boost collagen and makes your skin smooth, supple and clear. Moisturizes your skin and keeps it soft.

METHOD:

Things you need-

  • 1/3 cup green tea hydrosol
  • 1 teaspoon wild turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon carrot seed oil
  • 3 tablespoons aloe vera gel
  • 1 teaspoon vitamin E oil
  • 1 teaspoon pomegranate oil
  • Few drops vitamin C oil (optional)

Directions-

To make this serum, first mix together aloe gel, turmeric powder, carrot seed oil, vitamin E oil and pomegranate oil. Add in vitamin C oil if you want for added benefits, this is an optional step. Stir until it all emulsifies and turns into a turbid creamy consistency. Now, add in green tea hydrosol and mix until it is homogeneous. Transfer this serum to a dropper bottle and use it on your face and neck before bedtime. Shelf life depends on the shelf life of ingredients used.
