  • Vitamin C helps promote the collagen production which in turn is essential for youthful and softer skin.
  • Vitamin C is a good antioxidant and it protects your cells from free radicals which is caused due to UV rays exposure. Helps lighten fine lines and wrinkles, especially if premature.
  • Minimise the appearance of dark spots and also helps lighten pigmentation. Impedes melanin production.
  • Accelerates skin’s natural turnover process and reveals fresh, new and glowing skin.
  • Events out skin tone, lighten pigmentation and gives you a youthful beautiful glow.

METHOD:

Things you need-

  • Handful Fresh Orange Peels
  • 1-2 Cups Water

Directions-

To make this vitamin C toner, you need just two simple ingredients that is orange peel and water. You need fresh orange peels so grab an orange and peel it.

Now, place a sauce pan on medium heat and pour in water.

Add in fresh orange peels and stir.

Let it simmer on medium flame for 5 to 10 minutes or until the peels have turned soggy and super soft.

Turn off the flame and let it cool down. Strain this and transfer the prepared toner in a spray bottle.

You can use this as a facial mist or if you want to use it as a toner, store it in a pump bottle and soak a cotton pad before swiping it across your facial skin. Use it twice a day and do not forget to use a sunscreen during the daytime. The shelf life of this toner is one week in refrigerator after which you can make a fresh toner.
