Rose water is used in the recipe to dilute apple cider vinegar but it also has many skin care benefits. It has a calming effect and also adds a rosy glow. Makes skin super soft and smooth.

METHOD:

Things you need-

  • 3 tablespoons bentonite clay
  • 4 tablespoons rose water
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Directions-

To start with, you first need to add bentonite clay in a mixing bowl. In another bowl, add rose water and apple cider vinegar. You need to dilute apple cider vinegar if you have sensitive skin this way. Now slowly add apple cider vinegar solution into the clay until you get a spreadable paste consistency. Apply this evenly all over your facial skin and neck and let it sit for 15 minutes. Your skin can feel a little stretchy and you may also get a little tingling sensation for a few minutes but that is normal. Rinse it off. pat dry and use any good moisturizer, preferably aloe vera gel to calm the redness. Your skin will look a little inflamed and red after you wash off the mask but it should get back to normal after a few minutes. Use this mask once every two weeks for best results.

NOTE-

  • If you have highly sensitive skin, you might have to use the mask on a very small patch on your face first to check if it suits you.
  • Patch test before hand to check whether you are allergic to any of the ingredients used in this clay mask recipe.
  • You need to stick to this routine for a longer period for it to work.
