BENEFITS OF INGREDIENTS USED IN FACE MIST:

Green Tea

Green tea is rich in antioxidants and has great skin detoxing and purifying properties. It has been studied for its anti-oxidant effects and it also helps treat and prevent acne, whiteheads and blackheads. Green tea adds a beautiful glow to your skin, hydrates and nourishes.

Lemongrass

Lemon grass has been studied and researched for its skincare benefits and it is proved scientifically that it helps prevent acne and bumps on skin. It also has skin purifying properties that prevent future breakouts and bumps/comedones from forming. Great for mild skin infections as well and has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is a well-known anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial ingredient. It targets acne and breakouts and inhibits acne causing microbes. Great for skin that gets congested frequently and keeps it clear and bump free. Great for acne prone problematic skin.

METHOD:        

Things you need-

  • ½ cup hot water
  • 1-2 green tea bag
  • 5-7 drops tea tree oil
  • 2-3 tablespoons chopped dried lemongrass

Directions-

To make this purifying toning facial mist for acne and bumps, get a jar and pour in hot water. Dip the green tea bag and add in roughly chopped lemongrass. Let it steep for 30 minutes and remove the tea bag. Let the lemon grass stay infused in the green tea and transfer it to a spray bottle. Add in tea tree oil and shake it really well before spraying it on your facial skin. Spray this all over your face throughout the day. If you have acne and bumps on your body, you can use this after a shower on your body as well. This mist is also great if you have scalp acne or dandruff.
