Wild turmeric powder

Turmeric helps in improving the skin health and offers glowing skin. It is loaded with immense medicinal properties and additional benefits for the skin. It helps fight many skincare problems and provides a natural glow. Have anti-bacterial, anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties. It can reduce swelling, acne, wrinkles and fine lines. It acts as a mild and natural exfoliant for the skin. Turmeric can boost collagen production in the skin and also helps in reducing the appearance of scarring or stretch marks.

Gram flour/Besan

Besan flour has anti-microbial properties and is known to remove dirt and toxins from deep within. The zinc in besan helps fight infection that causes acne. It also removes tan, reduces excess oil and exfoliates dead skin cells.

Rose petals powder

Rose powder is known for its excellent soothing effects for the sensitive skin. It has anti-inflammatory properties.

Use it often in order to unclog your pores and keep it clean.

Rose water

Rose water gives soothing effect for the skin and acts as a toner as well. Keeps skin hydrated and is excellent for people with sensitive skin. Rose water is also helpful in unclogging pores, removing excess oil from the skin and also great natural toner to restore the skin’s pH level. It’s anti-bacterial property helps reduce acne and anti-inflammatory property reduce skin redness and puffiness.

Method

Things you need:

  • 1 teaspoon of wild turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoon of gram flour/besan
  • Rose petals powder 1 tbsp
  • Sandalwood powder 1 tbsp
  • Orange peel powder 1 tbsp
  • Neem powder 1 tbsp
  • 2 tablespoon of rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon of basil leaves powder
  • 2 tablespoon of clay powder (as per your choice)
  • Rose water as per the consistency you need
  • Raw milk as per the consistency you need (optional)

Directions:

To prepare this ubtan body cleanser, just give a good mix of all the above mentioned ingredients. Store this dry mixture in an air tight container. Follow the right measurements and can adjust the quantity as per your requirement.

Usage:

Take some amount from this ubtan body cleanser (i.e., dry mixture) and form a paste either with rose water or raw milk or plain water which is totally upto you. Form a paste and use it as a cleansing paste for your face and body which you follow up with washing with water. Note that use it on the damp skin. Hurray! You are all free to ditch soaps and switch to this wonderful body ubtan cleanser which can also be used for face and see the difference on a regular usage. This can also be used as a face mask which will be left for 20mins and then washing with plain water should be fine.

Note

  • Patch test is mandatory before you use this cleanser.
  • Use organic products wherever necessary.
  • Prepare the fresh batch whenever necessary.
  • Dry skin people can use less amount of the besan and can add either almond flour or oat flour.
  • Acne prone skin people can skip raw milk.
  • Using rose water to form the paste should be fine for oily-skin people.
  • Nothing much to scratch your head, can use this cleanser without giving second thought as it is a blend of all the natural ingredients out there.
