Pineapple Juice

Pineapple has been researched and studied for a lot of medicinal and skin beautifying properties. It is a good source of bromelain which is a natural proteolytic digestive enzyme and it works great for skin as well. Helps with skin rashes and mild skin inflammation as well. It is also rich in vitamin C which is a powerful anti-oxidant, vitamin B1, manganese and copper. Pineapple contains AHA which is also found in a lot of skincare formulations found in the market. It helps with early fine lines and wrinkles and keeps your skin looking beautiful and younger for a longer period.

Rose Water

Rose water adds a beautiful glow to the skin and is a great substitute for filtered water in this recipe. Adds a rosy glow, helps control shine and makes your skin super soft. Rosewater also helps unclog pores, prevent acne and breakouts.

Orange Essential Oil

METHOD:

Things you need-

  • 1 cup rose water or rose hydrosol
  • 1 tablespoon fresh pineapple juice
  • Few drops orange essential oil

Directions-

To make this pineapple toner, grab a jar and pour in rose water or rose hydrosol along with fresh pineapple juice. Add in few drops of orange essential oil and stir it really well. Transfer this solution to an easy to use spray or pump bottle and your pineapple toner is ready to be used. Store this in the refrigerator for not more than a week and make a new batch after that. If you want to store this for longer, freeze it into ice cubes and melt before using. To use, soak a cotton pad with this solution and swipe it across your face and neck. Best used before bedtime and do not forget to use a sunscreen during the day.
