Turmeric

Turmeric has anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and skin healing properties. It helps unclog pores, purify skin and keep it clear. Turmeric also has anti- pigmentation effects that helps lighten dark spots and darkness on the cheeks, near the nose and around the mouth area. Turmeric is also great for dark circles, oily skin and just overall skin health. It keeps your skin healthy and glowing.

Witch Hazel

Which Hazel has amazing anti-microbial properties that detox your skin and inhibits unwanted bacterial and fungal growth. This prevents breaking out and it also unclogs pores so it keeps whiteheads and blackheads away. Witch hazel has great skin purifying effects which makes it a great ingredient in this facial mist. If you have a problematic skin prone to breakouts, this ingredient is a must in your skincare routine.

Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil is a well known and anti-acne ingredient and it has great sanitizing and antiseptic properties. It is anti bacterial and anti-fungal in nature that helps purify skin and inhibit acne causing microbes. It also helps detox skin, unclog pores and keep skin clear.

Rose Water

Rose water helps shrink pores to some extent and it also has anti-pigmentation and purifying properties. It helps balance sebum production and adds a healthy glow to the skin.

RECIPE FOR TURMERIC FACIAL MIST FOR ACNE AND PROBLEMATIC SKIN

Things you need-

  • 1/3 cup rose water
  • 1/3 cup witch hazel
  • 1 teaspoon wild turmeric
  • 5-7 drops tea tree oil

Directions-

To make turmeric facial mist, you need rose water and which Hazel as a liquid base. Combine the liquids together in a jar and add in wild turmeric and tea tree oil. Mix it all really well together and pour it into an easy to use spray bottle. Store in the refrigerator to increase its shelf life and also to improve its effect because cold facial mist works better than room temperature one. Shake it well and mist it all over your facial skin. Can also be used on the body if you have body acne. Use it throughout the day.

NOTE-

  • Always use organic ingredients.
  • Wild turmeric stains less than the one you use for cooking. If you have a pale skin tone, you may reduce the quantity of turmeric.
  • Always patch test before hand.
  • Shelf life of the product depends on the shelf life of ingredients used.
