Serum for Mature Skin

Rosehip oil has great anti-ageing benefits thanks to a deep moisturizing and nourishing properties. It helps delay early signs of ageing like fine lines and wrinkles and is great for mature skin. To make rosehip serum for mature skin, add a tablespoon of rosehip carrier oil to 3 to 4 tablespoons of aloe vera gel. Add in a teaspoon of rose water. Mix it well until it is well emulsified and transfer to a dropper bottle. Use it as a facial serum before sleeping and in the morning as well.

Moisturizing Night Cream

Rosehip oil has great moisturizing benefits and it also makes a great ingredient for severely dry to dry skin. It suits all skin types but even if you have severely dry skin, this ingredient can help heal dry patches. To make a moisturizing night cream with rosehip oil, add a tablespoon of this carrier oil to 3 tablespoons of soft shea butter. Add in a teaspoon of jojoba oil and whip it until it is fluffy and well combined. Transfer to an easy-to-use jar and use it as a night cream.

Anti-Acne Gel

Did you know that rosehip oil also has anti-acne and skin clarifying benefits? I have acne prone skin and rosehip oil has worked really well in keeping my skin clear. It has anti-inflammatory benefits as well. To make anti acne gel, all you need to do is combine 2 teaspoons of rosehip oil and 3 tablespoons of commercial aloe vera gel. Also add in few drops of tea tree essential oil if you want and mix until it is emulsified. Transfer it to an easy to use container and use it as an anti-acne gel. Can be used all over the face or as a spot treatment.

Nourishing Sleeping Pack

Rosehip oil helps nourish your skin while you sleep and also helps brighten, moisturize and add a beautiful glow. To make this nourishing rosehip sleeping pack, mix together a tablespoon of rosehip carrier oil, 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel, a teaspoon of melted shea butter and few drops of your favorite essential oil. Mix it well and store it in an airtight container. Apply a thin layer all over your facial skin and neck and sleep with it. Wash it off the next morning.

Overnight Facial Oil

A blend of rosehip oil, lavender and rose oil can help unclog pores, fight pigmentation and saggy skin. Also when used as a last step in your night time regime, it helps seal the skin care products that were layered. To make this overnight facial oil, simply mix together 3 tablespoons of rosehip oil, 1/4 teaspoon of lavender essential oil and 1 teaspoon of rose oil. For added benefits, also add in a teaspoon of grape-seed oil. Mix it well and transfer it to a dropper bottle. To use, shake well and add a few drops on your palms. Rub your palms together and pat the oil onto your skin.

Anti Stretch Mark Body Butter

Rosehip oil has great anti ageing and skin nourishing and moisturizing properties which also helps in preventing stretch marks. It is also a safe ingredient to be used when you’re pregnant but it is really important to consult your doctor before incorporating essential oils in your routine. To make this anti-stretch mark body butter, all you need to do is mix together 3 tablespoons of soft shea butter, a teaspoon of soft cocoa butter and 2 tablespoons of rosehip oil. Whip it together and your anti-stretch mark body butter is ready. Use it on your belly, on your butt or wherever you want on your body after a shower and also before bedtime. 

Softening Hand Cream

If you have dry hands or if it is winter and your hands feel stretchy, here is a recipe for rosehip hand cream. This helps moisturize and keep your hands looking beautiful and soft. To make a softening hang cream, add a tablespoon of rosehip oil to 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and 2-3 teaspoons of almond oil. Now, add in 2 tablespoons of shea butter and a teaspoon of beeswax. Melt it in the microwave and let it sit at room temperature for five minutes. Using a hand mixer or whipper, whip this until you get a fluffy mixture. Transfer this to an easy-to-use jar and use it as a hand cream.

Cracked Heels Treatment

Rosehip oil helps heal cracked heels and has a softening and moisturizing effect. To make cracked heels overnight treatment, combine together equal quantities of sweet almond oil and olive oil. Add in few tablespoons of rosehip oil and mix it well. Massage this on your feet and their socks before bedtime.
