Deodorant Recipe: Alcohol-free & Natural

ALL NATURAL AND ALCOHOL-FREE DEODORANT RECIPE:

BENEFITS OF INGREDIENTS USED-

Shea Butter

Shea butter has super moisturising properties that moisturisers your underarms and because it is a non-comedogenic, it makes a great butter base for this recipe. This particular ingredient makes the final product ideal to be used even after shaving or waxing because it has soothing and calming properties as well. Softens your armpits and also helps emulsify and mix all the other ingredients in this recipe.

Baking Soda

Baking soda is a star ingredient in this deodorant recipe because it helps absorb the sweat and also eliminate order. Works amazing on most skin types but it is important to patch test this particular ingredient because it may not suit sensitive armpits. Freshens up your armpit and also masks and prevents pungent odour. Keeps your arm pits smelling fresh.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil has anti-inflammatory and skin sooting and moisturising properties. Also has antimicrobial effect is that keeps odour causing bacteria at bay. It is also quite nourishing and moisturising to the skin and also gives a great creamy texture to this homemade deodorant.

Essential Oil

You can use any essential oil that you like for fragrance and also to target specific skin concerns. If you get acne in your armpits, you can also add in few drops of tea tree and peppermint essential oils. For fragrance, I would highly recommend rose oil or any citrus or orange essential oil.
