ROSE OIL RECIPE- Benefits & Uses

ROSE OIL RECIPE

Things You Need-

  • ½ cup jojoba oil or sweet almond oil
  • Rose petals from 3-4 roses

Directions-

The very first step is plucking all the rose petals and washing it thoroughly. Place it on a dry sheet or paper towel for 30 minutes until the petals are completely dried. Now, add some water in a saucepan and place the glass jar in the center to make your own water bath. Add in jojoba oil or sweet almond oil or a combination of both in the glass jar. Add in rose petals and put a lid. Let it infuse for one hour. Shake the jar properly and place it in the dark for one week. You can use this rose oil as and when required.

If you are using fresh rose petals, the shelf life would be approximately two weeks. If you use dried rose petals in the same procedure, shelf life would be 6 to 7 months or more. You can strain the dried rose petals but it is best kept infused.
