Hair Growth

If you feel your hair does not grow fast or if you have stunted growth, you need to nourish your scalp and hair follicles to stimulate hair growth. Sometimes it is due to product buildup and follicle clogging and in that case you need to make sure that you exfoliate regularly. You can add fine sugar castor oil and use it to exfoliate your scalp before using a sample. If you want to make a hair mask to boost hair growth, you need to add a tablespoon of cinnamon powder to half cup of warm castor oil diluted with some coconut oil and apply it on your scalp and hair. Use a shampoo after 2 to 3 hours. Cinnamon gently irritates the scalp and boost circulation, this helps in hair growth.

Split ends are due to rough and dry hair. If you have really dry hair, they may split. Nothing is going to reverse splitting but you can take measures to stop it from spreading further and also to prevent future splitting. All you need to do is combine equal quantities of avocado pulp and warm castor oil and give it a really good mix until it is lump- free. Apply a generous amount on your hair length and scalp as well if you want and let it sit for 3 to 4 hours before you use a shampoo.

Dandruff that is due to dry weather can be treated by applying warm castor oil mixed with some sweet almond oil on the scalp. Let it work for 2 to 3 hours and then use a shampoo. If you have dandruff due to fungal growth, you can add few drops of tea tree oil to the mixture and then use.

Rough Hair

If you have rough hair or hair that is dull and lacks shine, all you can do is mix together to medium-sized banana and half cup of castor oil. Blend the two ingredients together until you get a thick mixture. Apply this on your scalp and hair and let it work overnight for best results. Use a shampoo the next morning.

Frizzy Hair

If you have frizzy and unmanageable hair, you can blend together half cup of fresh aloe vera gel and half cup of castor oil. Blend it until it is lump free and well emulsified and apply this on your scalp and hair quite generously. Let it work for 2 to 3 hours minimum and then use the shampoo.
