Aloe Vera Gel

Helps balance sebum production gradually and keeps your skin soft and clear. Commercial aloe vera gel makes a great ingredient in this recipe and a great base as well because it contains emulsifiers. Emulsifiers in aloe vera gel helps everything mix together.
Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil is widely known for its anti-acne benefits and many use this mixed with carrier oils as a spot treatment. Tea tree oil has anti-inflammatory and anti- microbial benefits that helps treat acne from the core and also prevent scarring.
Nutmeg Powder

METHOD:
Things you need-
- 3 tablespoons commercial aloe vera gel
- 3 tablespoons witch hazel
- 5 drops tea tree oil
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg powder
Directions-
To make this anti-acne serum, take a bowl and add in commercial aloe vera gel and witch hazel. You cannot use fresh aloe vera gel in the recipe because it will not emulsify with other ingredients. Mix this together until there are no lumps left. Add in tea tree oil and nutmeg powder and mix it again until you get a homogeneous mixture. Transfer this serum into an easy to use pump or spray bottle and use it as and when required. To use, take a pump or so on your fingertips and massage it on your facial skin and neck until fully absorbed. You can also use this as a spot treatment.
NOTE-
- Always patch test beforehand to make sure you are not sensitive or allergic to any ingredients used.
