Rose water helps tone the skin and prepares it for the next skincare steps. You can add few drops of lemon essential oil to rose water and use it as facial toning mist.

Sunburn

Rose water helps soothe the skin, has anti-inflammatory properties and it keeps skin calm. You can spray chilled rose water directly on the sunburnt area. For added benefits, add in few drops of peppermint essential oil.

Lemonade

Rosewater works as a great substitute to regular filtered water and lemonade. It has anti-inflammatory benefits and it also adds a nice flavor to your regular lemonade. Simply mix together 2 cups of rose water, some lemon juice, sugar and a pinch of salt. Toss in few ice cubes and enjoy your rose lemonade.

Shiny Hair

One trick to make your hair super hydrated and shiny is spraying rose water on your scalp and hair after shampooing. This is something I have learnt recently and I’m quite liking the results on my hair. You can also add in few drops of rose essential oil to add on to the benefits.

Soft Skin

You can use rosewater directly as a toner for soft and glowing skin. Alternatively, you can mix together 1/3 cup of witch hazel, 1/3 cup of rose water and few drops of rose essential oil to make your own toner. Use it during your AM and PM skincare routine.

Body mist

To make your own fragrant and skin softening body mist, all you need to do is mix together 1/3 cup of rose water, 10 drops of rose essential oil and 5 to 6 drops of orange essential oil. Transfer it to a spray bottle and shake well before misting it all over your body. Best used after a shower.
