Glass skin term is acquired from the trending Korean skincare care routines but you don’t really have to follow the 10 step Korean skincare routine to achieve that reflective glow. All you need to do is give your skin a boost of moisture to keep it healthy and plump which in its self will add a radiant reflective glow giving it a glass skin look. Vitamin E is an essential skincare ingredient and it is found in a lot of commercial skincare products. Vitamin E Capsules/Oil

Vitamin E oil helps prevent wrinkles and reverses premature skin ageing and also prevents early fine lines. It acts as a cleansing agent and keeps your pores clean and clear and also prevent it from clogging. Helps lighten dark spots and moisturises your skin making it glow and super plump. Helps rejuvenate and restore dehydrated skin. Works as an antioxidant and inhibits free radicals that cause skin damage.

Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe vera gel is a natural humectant and it deeply hydrates your skin making it plump and soft. It also works as an emulsifying agent in this recipe that helps mix all the ingredients together. Has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial benefits that help fight any mild inflammation and redness on the skin and also keep acne at bay. Has calming and soothing properties and makes your skin super smooth and firm.

Rosehip Oil

Rose Water

Rosewater helps maintain the pH balance of the skin and also deeply moisturises and nourish. It helps cure acne, tone your skin and also hydrate. Has calming and anti-inflammatory properties that helps with sunburn and mild skin inflammation and redness. Rose water makes a great substitute for filtered water in this recipe due to its skin benefits. It adds a beautiful glow and makes your skin super soft and smooth.

METHOD-

Things you need-

  • 1/3 cup Rose Water
  • 1 tablespoon Rosehip Oil
  • 4 capsules Vitamin E Oil
  • 3 tablespoons Commercial Aloe Vera Gel

Directions-

To make this vitamin E toner, you first need to make the aloe gel mixture. In a bowl, add commercial aloe vera gel and break in four vitamin E capsules. You cannot use fresh aloe vera gel as it will not have any shelf life and it will also not emulsify with other ingredients in the recipe. Add in rosehip oil and mix everything until it turns turbid and well emulsified. To this, and rose water and mix it really well until homogeneous and lump free. Transfer this toner to an easy to use spray or pump bottle and shake it really well. To use, saturate a cotton pad with this solution and swipe it across your face and neck. Alternatively, you can also take a small quantity on your palms and pat it onto your skin until well absorbed. You can also use this as a facial mist and use a spray bottle instead of a pump bottle.

NOTE:

  • Use organic ingredients for best results.
  • Patch test beforehand to make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients used in this vitamin E toner recipe.
  • If you do not have vitamin E capsules, feel free to use vitamin E oil that you get in the bottle form.
  • You can add in essential oils of your choice for added benefits.
