Overnight remedies are my favorite ways to use any DIYs as the ingredients or products get a longer period to work while you get your beauty sleep.  Overnight beauty tips are the best ways to give your skin and hair some tender loving care. Whether you want to fight acne, make your lips soft and plump or boost your hair growth, there are overnight remedies for them all. Below is a list of my favorite overnight remedies that I absolutely love and highly recommend-

Soft Pink Lips

You can make your own Lip softening lip butter and use it as an overnight lip mask. To make your own lip butter, whip together 1 tablespoon of almond oil and 2 tablespoons of softened shea butter. Transfer this to an easy to use jar and slather it on your lips before you go to sleep. Wipe it off with a cotton pad the next morning. Boost Hair Growth

You can make your own overnight hair oil that can help boost hair growth and make your hair longer and thicker. To make this oil, add half cup of coconut oil in a saucepan and add a handful of fresh curry leaves. Fry the leaves until they become dark. Remove the fried curry leaves by straining and store this oil in an easy to use bottle. Massage this oil on your hair and scalp and tie top knot before you go to sleep. Use a shampoo the next morning.

Fight Acne

I really love using a tea tree sleeping mask and it has great anti acne and anti-inflammatory properties that keeps skin clear. All you need is 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel and few drops of tea tree essential oil. If you have jojoba oil you can add a teaspoon of that as well. Mix until well emulsified and transfer it to an easy to use jar. You have to use only commercial aloe vera gel for this as fresh gel would not work. Apply and massage on your facial skin before bedtime and wash it off the next morning.

Soft and Supple Skin

You can also make your on skin softening night cream so that you wake up to soft and plump skin. To make your own night cream, simply whip together 2 tablespoons of shea butter, one teaspoon of jojoba or almond oil and few drops of lavender essential oil. You can use any essential oil that you love and whip it until it is light and fluffy. Transfer to an easy to use jar and used as a regular night cream.

Repair Cracked Heels

I love using a very moisturizing foot cream or a DIY Foot butter to keep my feet soft and smooth. If you have dry and cracked heels, this is going to be a savior for you. To make this foot butter, simply whip up equal quantities of shea butter and cocoa butter along with 2 to 3 teaspoons of almond oil. Add in few drops of peppermint essential oil for added benefits. Whip until it is soft and fluffy and transfer to an easy to use jar. Massage a small quantity on your feet and wear socks before you go to sleep.

Soft Hands

Just as you take care of your feet, you have to take care of your hands as well as hands are the ones that age faster. Whip together equal quantities of shea butter and cocoa butter and add in 3 teaspoons of any moisturizing carrier oil. Whip until fluffy and use it as a hand cream before going to bed. Nourished Hair

To give your hair that much needed nourishment, you can make your own hair mask by mixing together half cup of coconut cream and half cup of coconut milk. Mix it really nicely or whip if necessary and apply it on your scalp and hair. Tie a top knot and sleep with it. Shampoo the next morning.

Nail Growth

To keep your nails and cuticles healthy and to make them grow longer, it is important that you nourish your nails and cuticles before hitting the bed. To make your own cuticle oil, mix together one tablespoon of vitamin E oil, one teaspoon of flaxseed gel and one tablespoon of aloe vera gel. To make flaxseed gel, you simply have to cook whole flax seeds in water and strain out the gel. Mix it until it is well emulsified and apply it on your nails and cuticles before sleeping.

Lighten Dark Armpits

Overnight remedies work the best for dark armpits and I’ve been doing this for years. Simply cut a lemon in half and dip in coconut oil and rub on your armpits for a few minutes. Let it sit and sleep with it, do not rinse it off. You can skip coconut oil and just rub lemon directly if your skin isn’t sensitive.

Fight Dandruff

You can make your own overnight anti-dandruff hair mask by blending together 1 cup of fresh aloe vera gel and 3 inches long or medium sized fresh ginger. Strain out the juice and apply it on your scalp and hair. Tie a top knot and sleep with it and shampoo the next morning.
