REMOVE MAKEUP WITHOUT A MAKEUP REMOVER:
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a very popular natural way to remove make up easily at home. It not only helps break down make up and dirt but it also moisturizes and nourishes your skin. All you need to do is massage with coconut oil directly onto your skin and eyes as well to remove stubborn mascara and make up. Wipe it off with a wash cloth dipped and warm water and follow up with the forming cleanser.
Ghee
Ghee is nothing but clarified butter that helps remove waterproof make up and also makes your skin super soft. Use it just like coconut oil. Massage clarified butter or ghee on your facial skin and eyes as well and wipe it off with a cotton pad. Follow up with the forming face wash and pat dry.
Petroleum Jelly
Another popular way to remove make up without using a commercial make up remover is by using petroleum jelly. You can use a Q tip and dip it in petroleum jelly before rubbing it on your eyelashes to remove stubborn mascara. You can take a dollop and massage it on your facial skin and then wipe it off with a warm washcloth. Follow up with forming cleanser and you are done.
Milk
Milk is one very gentle skin cleanser and it helps remove make up to some extent. It cannot be used to remove waterproof make-up but if you have used water soluble make up or very light make up, milk can do the job. Simply take milk on a cotton pad or soak your cotton pad with it and wipe it across your face and neck. Follow up with the forming cleanser and you’re done.
Shea Butter
You can use shea butter mixed with some jojoba oil as a cleansing butter or cleansing cream. Simply add a teaspoon or so of jojoba oil to 3 to 4 tablespoons of soft shea butter and whip it up until fluffy and creamy. Use this to massage your facial skin and area around the eyes until the make up is all melted. Use a wash cloth dipped in warm water to wipe off the residue and follow up with the forming face wash.
