Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree essential oil has great antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties. It can clog pores and help fight and inhibit acne causing fungus. Keeps your skin very clean and clear and also prevent future breakouts and acne.
Aloe Gel
Aloe vera gel makes a great gel base in this recipe and it is also a natural humectant and antimicrobial agent. It keeps your skin super soft and also keeps your skin clean and clear. Aloe gel also has anti-inflammatory properties that help calm down and soothe acne redness and inflammation on the skin.
Neem Powder
Quite known for its anti-acne benefits and there have also been a lot of research studies on the same. Neem is an age-old remedy for acne and pimples and it helps fight fungal acne as well. It has antimicrobial properties and also helps unclog pores and keep your skin clear and clean. Also has detoxing properties.
Peppermint Oil
Peppermint essential oil is quite known for his anti-inflammatory and soothing effect and it also has amazing antimicrobial properties that help inhibit acne causing fungus. Unclog pores and keep your skin clear. Peppermint essential oil also has detoxing effects that detoxes the skin.
METHOD:
Things you need-
- ¼ cup commercial aloe vera gel
- 1 teaspoon neem powder
- 3-4 drops peppermint essential oil
- 3-4 drops tea tree essential oil
Directions-
In a bowl, add commercial aloe vera gel. You cannot use fresh aloe gel as it won’t last and won’t even emulsify with other ingredients. Add in neem powder and mix well until its is lump-free. Now, add in peppermint essential oil and tea tree essential oil and stir until it is well emulsified. Your acne clearing gel is ready! Transfer this to an easy-to-use jar and use it as a moisturizer during the day and before sleeping as well. Shelf life depends on the shelf life of the ingredients used.

- Patch test before hand to make sure none of the ingredients or the final product cause any allergic reactions.
