Orange Juice

Orange juice is a great source of vitamin C which is a very potent antioxidant. It helps neutralize free radicals and has anti-ageing benefits. Orange Peel Powder

Orange peel powder is even potent than plain orange juice and the anti-tan compounds and tannins that are in concentrated form. Works amazing for dark spots and blemishes and also helps even out skin tone and fight pigmentation. Gives you are beautiful glow gradually.

Gelatin

Gelatin works as a great peeling ingredient in this recipe. If you are not a big fan of using gelatin, you can go for agar agar powder but the peeling action won’t be as good as gelatin. Gelatin also helps remove peach fuzz and dead skin layer.

METHOD:

Things you need-

  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange peel powder
  • 2-3 tablespoons (or more, as required) gelatin powder or sheets

Directions-       

To make this orange peel off mask, you first need to juice fresh orange. Pour orange juice into a microwave safe bowl and add in orange peel powder and gelatin. Stir and microwave it for 30 seconds and repeat until the gelatin is completely dissolved and consistency looks a bit sticky. Add in some rose water if required. Once it is lukewarm, apply it on your facial skin making sure you do not go near to the side locks and hairline. Let it completely dry and gently peel it off in an upward direction. Follow up with a good moisturizer. Use this peel off mask at least once a week.

NOTE-

  • Patch test before hand to make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients used in this DIY orange peel off mask recipe.
