Dehydrated potato powder

Potatoes also help in treating the dry skin and provide deep nourishment to the skin.
Rose water
Rose water helps in balancing the skin pH level and it’s an added benefit since it acts as a natural toner. The anti-inflammatory properties of rose water helps in treating acne, inflamed skin, soothe redness and an irritated skin. Nowadays you can find witch hazel in its pure form in your nearest local drugstore or can easily get them from online shopping stores which resemble a bottle of rubbing alcohol. Witch hazel is something that is a must- use product for acne prone skin people. But have to use this in a very limited quantity as some sources say that is unsafe to use it directly on the face. The most common uses of witch hazel are treating sunburn, ease irritation, injury and inflammation due to its anti-inflammatory properties, gallic acid and tannins. It helps in fighting acne as it kills acne causing bacteria from infecting your skin and is also great for fungal acnes as well.
Method
Things you need:
- 1 teaspoon of dehydrated potato powder (best with its skin)
- ½ cup of rose water
- 1 tablespoon of witch hazel
- Few drops of rosehip oil
Directions
To prepare this potato face toner, take a mixing bowl and add ½ cup of rose water, 1 tablespoon of witch hazel, 1 teaspoon of potato powder and few drops of rosehip oil. Give it a very good mix. Let it infuse at least for 2 days at room temperature. Strain the mixture and store it in the spray bottle for use.
Usage
To use this potato face toner, spray it all over your face after cleansing your face. While your skin is still damp with the toner, apply your favourite facial moisturiser to lock in hydration.
