Top 10 Recipes for Winter Hair Masks

Aloe vera

Aloe vera helps in promoting the hair growth, prevents dryness, dandruff and ensures good enough amount of strength to the hair. All you need to do is that, just scrape some gel from the aloe plant and rub over the scalp and hair. Leave it on for 1 or 2 hours and then follow up with the hair wash.

Yogurt and honey hair mask

The full-fat yogurt and honey makes a simple 2-ingridient natural hair masks and serves as an ideal winter hair mask. Mixing 3 parts of yogurt and 1 part of honey should be fine. Give them all a good mix and apply it all over the hair and scalp. Cover the hair with shower cap and wash it off.

Banana and raw egg

This DIY hair mask is very hydrating and nourishing for scalp. This also helps in reviving the hair with utmost moisture and gives your hair life with luster and shine. It is also helpful in protecting the hair against breakage. For this mask recipe, all you need is that just take a small mixing bowl and add 1 mashed banana, 1 egg white and 1 tablespoon of honey. Give them all a very good mix. Apply the mask staring from scalp till hair ends. Cover the head with shower cap and wash it off after 1 hour.

No breakage avocado hair mask

The essential fatty acids of avocado and olive oil make it great for dry, frizz and brittle hair. To this recipe, all you need to do is that, just grab some half ripe mashed avocado, 1 teaspoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of honey and few drops of your favorite essential oil. Give them all a good mix and apply it over your hair and scalp. Wash it off after 1 hour.

Revitalising hair mask

This mask makes use of castor oil which is a natural and the best remedy for winter. And the castor oil is the main ingredient here. For this recipe, you can add equal amounts of castor oil and coconut oil and few drops of rosemary essential oil. Give them a good mix and give a good massage to the scalp and can apply to the tip of the hair as well. Wash it after 1 hour with a mild shampoo.

Nutrient rich almond hair mask

Almonds are rich in protein and vitamins like vitamin E. This helps in keeping the hair moisturized especially during winters. To this recipe just mix 4 to 5 tablespoon of almonds paste, 3 tablespoons of almond oil and few drops of apple cider vinegar. Give them all a very good mix and apply it all over your scalp and hair. Wash it after 1 hour with a mild shampoo.

Coconut cream mask

This mask is the simplest and is ideal for all the busy peeps. Take some good amount of coconut cream and rub over the scalp and till the tip of the hair. Make sure to give a good massage and then wash it off after 1 or 2 hours. This is an effective and super natural remedy for winter dreaded tresses. 

Banana and olive hair mask

This mask is super effective remedy for winter season that solves all the issues that winter dry tresses have. 

To this recipe, all you need to do is that, Mash the half ripe banana well and add olive oil as per the consistency you need. Keep it for half an hour and wash it off with mild shampoo.

Fenugreek seed mask

This mask has our hearts. One of the most effective hair masks for promoting hair growth and nourishing. To prepare this recipe, just blend the handful of soaked fenugreek seeds. To the blended paste add 1 tablespoon mustard oil. Give it a good mix and apply it all over your hair and scalp. Wash it off after 1 hour with mild shampoo.

Nourishing heat damaged hair with lemon

Thinning of hair is one main problem for stunted hair growth caused by hair styling tools and this can aggravate during dry winters. So here is the recipe for nourishing your heat damaged hair and thus enhancing the hair growth. So to prepare this, all you need is the egg yolks as per your hair length requirement and squeeze in some half lemon juice. Give a good mix and apply all over your hair and rinse with shampoo after 30mins. Do this once or twice a week for desired results. Results are amazing with nourished and healthy hair mainly.
