Goat Milk Soap Base

You can easily get the goat milk soap base at amazon and other online shopping markets. Goat milk is rich in fatty acid which helps in repairing skin barrier. Goat milk soap can be considered as the gentle cleanser that can help support a healthy skin barrier to keep skin nourished and moisturized. It is rich in vitamin A and thus acts as a mild exfoliator. The fatty acids in goat milk claims to provide softer and supple skin.

Wild Turmeric Powder

Turmeric has ability to fade dark spots and lighten the skin tone. It is even suitable for sensitive skin type. Turmeric has got numerous benefits such as treating age related dark spots, acne marks and other pigmentation issues. The anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric are immensely beneficial in treating acne. Thanks to its antioxidant properties for combating skin damaging free-radicals. And is great for reducing fine lines and wrinkles due to its anti-aging effects.  

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is something similar to the sebum produced by the skin. It gets easily absorbed into skin and lubricates it. With regular usage, fine lines and wrinkles are reduced. It helps retain moisture in the skin by sealing the skin with a protective barrier. Jojoba oil cleanses away the impurities without losing skin’s natural moisture. Method

Things you need:

  • 300 gm to 500 gm goat milk soap base 
  • 1- 2 tbsp wild turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp jojoba oil

Directions:

To prepare this DIY turmeric soap recipe, firstly chop/dice goat milk soap base so it’s easy to melt. Pour into the heat safe container and melt it in the microwave or double boiler (if heating on direct heat, use an induction) until you get a lump-free liquid. Now add 2 tbsp of wild turmeric powder and 2 tbsp jojoba oil and give it a good mix. Wild turmeric powder leaves no stain on the body and it gives a nice orange color to the soap with its excellent medicinal properties. Now pour it to the soap mould and let it sit for room temperature for good amount of time. Once it is done unmold it and store it in an air-tight container. Use it as a regular soap.

Note

  • Perform patch test before you use this soap and check if you are allergic to any of the ingredient used in this serum.
  • Avoid sensitive areas in case you feel any skin irritation.
  • Results aren’t visible if applied once. Maintain consistency to see the best results.
  • Use organic products/ ingredients for best results and to maintain the skin health.
  • Do not exceed the shelf life.
  • Do not expect the results in instant since not all the skin types respond to it quickly and some may take time. 
  • Can spray off 2 to 3 drops of rubbing alcohol after pouring the soap solution in mould in order to remove bubbles.
  • Can choose the soap base suited for your skin type.
  • Store the soaps in air tight container and use it when you require.
  • Those with acne prone skin can choose glycerin base and those are really in need of gentle and creamy lather can go with goat milk soap base.
  • For the extra added benefits one can add essential oils of their choice and need.
