Aloe Water

Aloe vera gel when used in the form of water penetrates into the skin even better and has great hydrating properties. It has anti-inflammatory effects that calm down any skin inflammation. Vegetable Glycerine

Turmeric

Turmeric is a quite well-known brightening and healing ingredient. It has anti pigmentation, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties that makes it an amazing ingredient for your skin. Helps lighten dark spots, fight acne and pigmentation.

METHOD:

Things you need-

  • ½ cup Aloe Water
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Glycerine
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric

Directions-

To make this DIY essence, you first need to get hold of aloe water. Now, to make aloe water, you need to mix 3 tablespoons of commercial aloe vera gel and 1 cup of distilled or filtered water. You cannot use fresh aloe vera gel as it will get spoiled the very next day. Mix the aloe vera gel with water until it is homogeneous. Add in vegetable glycerine and turmeric and mix it really well until it is a lump free. Transfer this prepared essence to an easy to use spray, pump or a nozzle bottle and shake it really well before using. Shelf life depends on the shelf life of individual ingredients in the recipe. To use, simply take some amount on your palms and put it onto your skin after you use a toner. You can follow up with a serum of your choice and a moisturizer.
