Using face cream not only does the job of moisturising your face, it provides elasticity to your skin and protects your skin from getting premature ageing signs like wrinkles, fine lines and spots. So, it is recommended to use specific face cream regularly. If you are struggling with dry skin or extremely dry skin, using face cream is a must to revitalise your skin. RICE MILK CREAM FOR BRIGHTER, EVEN TONED SKIN:
Benefits of ingredients used in the Rice Milk Cream:
SOAKED RICE:
Rice has Vitamin A, C and E which helps your skin look better. Rice provides hydration to the skin and also moisturises the face. It is enriched with antioxidants and fights against free radicals, helps brighten the face and also even tones the skin. Has anti-ageing properties. Rice has been widely used in the skin care regime. In fact, Korean skin care products often have rice as one of the dominant components. It helps your skin by providing elasticity and also diminishes fine lines and wrinkles. It gives protection against sun damage.
VITAMIN E CAPSULES:
Vitamin E is deeply moisturising to the face. It has anti-inflammatory properties and helps with the early signs of ageing. It also helps in treating hyperpigmentation and even tones the skin; also helps in diminishing scars. It has an antioxidant called alpha-tocopheral which helps your skin by protecting against the free radicals that damage your skin.
ALOE VERA GEL:
Aloe based skin care products are being preferred by people for its soothing effect on the skin. It also has many healing properties. It treats irritated skin, moisturises the skin, calms the skin and reduces puffiness around the eyes. Aloe is also enriched with antioxidants that give protection against the sun’s harmful UV rays. It also helps in clearing out the blemishes and makes your skin soft and supple.
METHOD:
Things you need:
- Rice – 3-4 tablespoons
- Vitamin E capsules – 4-6
- Commercial Aloe vera Gel – 2 tablespoons
Directions:
To make the Rice Milk Cream, take 4 tablespoons of rice and soak it up for 3-4 hours in water. Then take a blender or a mixer and smoothly blend the soaked rice. Strain the blended rice using a strainer. You’ll get rice milk. Then take a pan and add the rice milk and keep it on low flame with continuous stirring until it thickens. You can also use the strained coarse rice to exfoliate the skin. Once the rice milk is thickened, bring it to room temperature and add the Vitamin E capsules and 2 tablespoons. Mix it well and store it in a refrigerator.
Usage:
Take pea sized cream and apply it evenly on your freshly cleansed face. Then follow it with a sunscreen. Use this cream regularly to get amazing results.
NOTE:
- Perform a patch test before using the cream to avoid any allergic reactions.
- If you have any skin related issues, make sure to consult your doctor before using this cream.
- The shelf life of the cream is 2 weeks in refrigerator. Make sure to store this in a glass jar or air tight container.
- Keep this away from moisture to avoid fungus formation.
- Make fresh batches every two weeks.
- Be consistent. In order to get better results, use this cream regularly.
- This cream is for all skin types and can be used during day and night.
- You can also add any essential oils of your liking, if you don’t like the smell of rice.
