Raw honey is such an amazing skincare and hair care ingredient thanks to its natural humectant properties that keeps skin super soft and hair shiny and silky. OVERNIGHT BEAUTY TIPS WITH HONEY

Dry Lips

If you have really dry and chapped lips or even if your lips are pigmented, you can use this honey lip mask. To make this mask, simply mix together 1 tablespoon of raw organic honey and 1 tablespoon of jojoba carrier oil. Mix it really well and store it in a airtight container. Apply this on your lips before bedtime.

Acne

If you have active breakouts or active acne, you can use this acne spot treatment before going to sleep. All you have to do is mix together 2 tablespoons of raw organic honey and a pinch or two of cinnamon powder. Add a few drops of tea tree essential oil and mix it really well. Using a Q tip, apply this on your acne and go to sleep. Wash it off the next morning. Store the prepared mixture in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for a week. Soft Skin

If you have dry skin or even just normal skin but want to make your skin super soft and supple, you can make your very own honey sleeping mask. To make this sleeping mask, you need to mix together 2 tablespoons of commercial aloe vera gel and 1 tablespoon of raw organic honey. Do not use fresh aloe vera gel as it will not mix with honey and it won’t last for more than a day. After making this, apply a thin layer on your facial skin and go to sleep. Wash it off the next morning.

Split Ends

If you have split ends and want to stop it from splitting further or if you have very dry hair and want to prevent split ends, using this honey butter on the ends of your hair before going to sleep is the best thing to do. To make honey butter, all you have to do is mix together 2 tablespoons of softened shea butter with 1 teaspoon of raw organic honey. Sparingly apply this on your hair ends before you go to sleep. Use a shampoo the next morning.         

Dark Elbows & Knees

If you have dark and dry knees and elbows, this remedy can really help you lighten the darkness and also soften your skin. All you have to do is cut a lemon in half and dip it into honey. Massage this on your dark elbows and knees and wipe of the excess. Do not wash of because you want the residue to sit on your skin. Sleep with it and wash it off the next morning.

Scars

If you have mild scarring on your face, make a habit of using this serum regularly. To make this honey serum, you need 2 tablespoons of organic commercial aloe vera gel, a teaspoon of raw organic honey and 2 tablespoons of diluted apple cider vinegar. Mix it really well and store it in a drop or pump bottle. Massage a small quantity on your facial skin before you go to bed.

Blackheads

If you have blackheads and whiteheads, use this solution on your nose or on areas where you have blackheads before going to sleep. Simply mix together 1 tablespoon of matcha green tea powder with half teaspoon of raw organic honey. Mix it really well and apply it on your skin before bedtime.

Glowing Skin

This particular mask adds a nice glow and also helps lighten pigmentation and polishes your skin. All you have to do is add a pinch of wild turmeric to 1 tablespoon of raw organic honey and slather this on your face. Massage it for a few minutes and wipe of the excess. Let the residue set overnight and wash it off the next morning.

  • Remedies of products never show instant results, you have to stick to routine for a longer period to see any effect.
