Serums are one of my favourite products to use in a routine. They are nothing but solutions that contain potent saturated compounds that target specific skin concerns. Hyaluronic acid serum are so popular and they are known to make a dramatic impact on your skin. It is nothing but acid that is naturally found in the skin that helps maintain elasticity and also prevent premature fine lines and wrinkles.

HYALURONIC ACID SERUM RECIPE

Hyaluronic acid is hydrophilic in nature that gives it a gel like consistency. It is naturally found in connective tissues, muscles etc. for elasticity and hydration. As we age, this property can actually decrease which can cause stiffness, dry and wrinkled skin etc. Hyaluronic acid can add a boost of moisture to your skin and also prevent premature ageing symptoms like fine lines and wrinkles and give your skin youthful appearance and keep it plump for longer. Here I am sharing a recipe for an all natural hyaluronic acid serum that you can easily make at home with just 2 to 3 ingredients –

RECIPE FOR HYALURONIC ACID SERUM:

BENEFITS:

  • Hyaluronic acid is water-loving which means it is hydrophilic in nature that binds to water. It adds a boost of moisture to your skin and prevents your skin from drying.
  • Has anti-ageing benefits that helps maintain the elasticity of skin by trapping in moisture and smoothen out the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
  • Helps repair dry patches on the skin and give your skin a more smoother and even appearance.
  • Adds a beautiful glow to your skin and keep it plump and healthy.

METHOD:

Things You Need-

  • 1 teaspoon Hyaluronic Acid Powder
  • 50-60 mL filtered or distilled water
  • Few drops essential oil (optional)

Directions-

To make this hyaluronic acid serum, you first need to get hold of a good quality hyaluronic acid powder. You can find it on Amazon very easily or any other store that you trust. In a bowl, add in this hyaluronic acid powder along with organic distilled rose water. Add in few drops of essential oils if you like. If you have acne prone skin, feel free to add peppermint or tea tree essential oil. For normal skin, add in lavender essential oil. Mix it really well until lump-free and homo genius. Transfer this to an easy-to-use dropper bottle and your hyaluronic acid serum is ready. To use, take a dropper full of this serum on your palms and pat it on to your skin until fully absorbed. Can be used during the day and also before bedtime. Works best as make up primer too.
