Lemon Peels

Lemon peels are also great for pigmentation on skin including darkness around the mouth and it evens out skin tone gradually.

Rose Water

Rose water adds a beautiful rosy glow and it is a great substitute for plain water in this recipe. It adds on to the skin benefits in this recipe and also helps even out skin tone and control excess sebum production. Hydrates your skin and keep it healthy.

Turmeric Essential Oil

Turmeric is an amazing skincare ingredient and has researched for a lot of its potent skin effects. It helps brighten, lighten pigmentation and dark spots. Evens out skin tone and adds a beautiful healthy glow. It also has hydrating properties and heals your skin from mild skin infections and acne.

METHOD

Things You Need-

  • Handful dried lemon peels
  • 1 cup rose Water
  • Few drops turmeric essentials oil

Directions-

to make this glow water, take a jar and pour in rosewater. You can also use home-made rosewater in this recipe. Now, toss in handful of dried lemon peels and place a lid on top. Let it infuse overnight. Strain it the next morning and add a few drops of turmeric essential oil. If you have severe acne, add in few drops of tea tree or peppermint essential oil as well. Stir it well and strain. Add this Glow water in a spray bottle and use it as a facial mist throughout the day. Store it in the refrigerator for one week. You can also freeze this glow water into ice cubes and use it on your facial skin once a day.
