RECIPE FOR DIY TURMERIC NIGHT CREAM:

Things you need-

  • 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
  • Pinch turmeric
  • Few drops turmeric essential oil
  • Pinch saffron strands

Directions-

In a bowl, add commercial organic aloe vera gel. Fresh aloe vera gel will not work in this recipe as you need emulsifiers for the ingredients to mix and fresh aloe gel wouldn’t last for more than a day and will spoil easily. Add turmeric powder and turmeric essential oil in aloe and mix until well-combined and emulsified. Add in saffron strands and mix again. Transfer to an easy-to-use jar and store in a clean and dry place. Shelf-life of the final product depends on the shelf-life of ingredients used. To use, massage a small amount on cleansed facial skin and neck before bedtime. Can also be used under the eyes for dark circles.

Note-

  • If you are pregnant or lactating or have a serious health condition, consult your doctor before using any essential oil.
  • Do not use essential oils directly on skin and hair, always use it mixed with other ingredients or carrier oils.
  • Always use organic ingredients in DIYs or home remedies.
