Ginger

Raw Honey

Raw honey is anti microbial and anti-inflammatory in nature. It soothes the throat and any inflammation in the respiratory tract and it also calms down any redness and irritation in the throat. Raw honey also has great healing properties and it also helps build immunity and body’s resistance power.

METHOD:

Things you need-

  • 1 cup raw honey
  • 5-6 medium sized fresh ginger root

Directions-

To make this ginger cough syrup, you first need to dice 5 to 6 medium sized fresh ginger roots. Make sure that you are making really thin slices to extract more goodness from it. Now, take a jar and add in the ginger slices. Pour in raw honey until the brim and secure the jar with an airtight lid. Let it infuse for over two weeks in the refrigerator and then you can directly have this syrup. Keep the ginger infused in it for good results. You can also add a teaspoon or so of this syrup into warm water and have it in the morning to soothe a sore throat.
