RECIPE FOR DIY COLD CREAM

BENEFITS OF INGREDIENTS USED IN DIY COLD CREAM

Shea Butter

Shea butter functions as an emollient. It may aid in the softening or smoothing of dry skin. Shea butter also includes anti-inflammatory properties that can help to minimize skin edema. Eczema and other skin-swelling diseases may benefit from this treatment. Many face moisturizers and body creams contain shea butter. It acts as an emollient, softening and hydrating the skin. Shea butter protects the skin from environmental harm such as pollution because it includes various types of fatty acids that enhance the skin’s natural barrier, such as linoleic, oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids.

Jojoba Oil

Skin, like hair, requires oil to stay moisturized. Jojoba oil is a humectant, which means it forms a protective layer over the skin to keep moisture in. It’s high in vitamin E, which helps the skin battle filth and pollutants daily. Sunburn and sun damage can be treated using jojoba oil, which can also be used as a natural sunscreen. It also treats acne by regulating sebum production in the skin, as well as healing acne scars and making the skin more even-toned. It has anti-aging benefits as well.

Mango Butter

Antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals abound in mangoes. The majority of your daily recommended dose of Vitamin C is found in just 100 grams of mango. Vitamin E, Vitamin A, folates, and copper are all abundant in them. Mangos have moisturizing qualities when used topically. Mango is a great meal for maintaining your skin’s health because of these qualities: it hydrates skin, supports collagen formation, and prevents indications of aging.
