10 DARK ARMPIT REMEDIES –
Potato
Potato has anti-pigmentation effects that helps even out dark armpit. It also helps lighten any dark spots that you might have on your armpits. You can slice a potato and rub a slice on your armpit for a few minutes and let the residue set for 30 minutes before you wash it off. Alternatively, you can also directly apply potato juice on your armpit with a cotton ball and let it work overnight.
Lemon
Lemon has great bleaching effects and works great when used carefully. It helps even out skin tone and lighten pigmentation to a great extent. Add few drops of lemon to a teaspoon of water and soak a cotton ball in it. Rub this cotton ball on your armpit and let it dry before you were your T shirt. Sleep with it and let it work overnight. If you have sensitive skin, skip this remedy.
Tomato
Tomato, just as a lemon is rich in vitamin C and it has lightning properties that helps lighten pigmentation and darkness. You can slice a tomato and rub one slice on your armpits for a few minutes. Let the residue set for 30 minutes and then rinse it off. For best effects, you can also add few drops of honey on tomato before rubbing it on your skin.
Licorice
Licorice or mulethi is quite well known for its anti pigmentation and brightening effects. It can help lighten dark armpits and also nourish the skin and keep it looking beautiful. Simply mix licorice powder with enough rose water or apple cider vinegar to make a paste. Apply this paste evenly on your armpits and let it completely dry before you scrub it off using dry fingers. Rinse and do not forget to use a moisturizer or cream based roll on deodorant.
Rice
Rice has exfoliating and brightening properties that helps polish your armpits and also helps improve chicken skin texture. It exfoliates and buffs away dead skin cells that helps reveal fresh new skin and makes your armpits more even toned and soft. You can make a scrub cum mask using rice flour and some milk or yogurt. Mix both the ingredients and apply on your armpits. Let it completely dry and scrub it with your dry fingers and rinse off.
Sugar
