Lash Gel
A combination of aloe vera gel and castor oil can work really well for boosting your lash growth. To make this lash gel, you need to mix together 3 tablespoons of commercial organic aloe vera gel and a tablespoon of castor oil. Mix it well until it is well emulsified and transfer it to an empty mascara tube. Apply this on your lashes during the day and also before bedtime.
Flax Castor Gel
Flax seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and also have hair growth boosting properties. To make flaxseed gel, you simply need to simmer whole flaxseeds in water until it turns into thick gel. Strain and your flax gel is ready. To this flax gel, add equal quantities of castor oil and mix it well. Use it on your lashes using a clean mascara wand or a Q tip before bedtime.
Lash Balm
To make an eyelash balm, add half a teaspoon of bees wax to 3 tablespoons of castor oil. Melt it in the microwave and pour it in a tiny jar. Let it sit on the countertop at room temperature to set. Take a small amount of balm and massage it in between your fingers to melt. Rub/massage it on your lashes before bedtime.
Lash Oil Blend
To make an overnight lash oil blend, mix together 1/4 teaspoon of castor oil, 1/4 teaspoon of coconut oil and 1/4 teaspoon of flaxseed oil. Also add in 2 to 3 drops of lavender essential oil and mix it well. Transfer this to an empty roller bottle and use it on your lashes before bedtime.
Lash Mask
To make a 20 minute lash mask, blend together some flax seeds and fenugreek seeds. Soak them in water for 30 minutes and strain. Apply this water on your lashes using a mascara wand or a Q tip and let it sit for 20 minutes before you rinse it off. Safe to be used once daily.
