Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil makes a great carrier oil and it also has anti-inflammatory and anti-acne benefits. It helps unclog pores and fight acne and breakouts. Keeps your skin clean and clear and also helps prevent whiteheads and blackheads. Has moisturizing properties that keep your skin plump and soft.
Ginger Powder
Ginger is packed with antioxidants that help fight free radicals and also has a detoxing effect. It helps flush out toxins and improves blood circulation and boost collagen production. METHOD:
Things You Need-
- ¼ cup Jojoba Oil
- 1 tablespoon Ginger Powder
- 5-6 drops Ginger Essential Oil
Directions-
To make this ginger serum for acne and acne scars, you first need to add Jojoba oil in an airtight jar. Add in ginger powder and stir. Keep it in the dark for a week for it to infuse. After week, strain the infused oil and add in ginger essential oil And vitamin E oil. Mix it well and transfer it to a dropper bottle. Your ginger serum is ready. Take a drop or so on your palms and rub it to warm it up. Pat it gently on your facial skin and let it work overnight. You can use it directly on your skin or also as a last step in your skincare routine. You can also mix it with your night cream if you like.
NOTE-
- Patch test before hand to make sure your skin does not react to any of the ingredients used in this serum recipe. Also, if you have sensitive skin the serum might tingle a bit but if it gets out of control, stop using it and consult a doctor. This is why, patch testing is necessary.
