WAYS TO USE POTATOES FOR PIGMENTATION:

POTATO RUB

This is one of the simplest ways to use potatoes on daily basis and hardly takes any time! Do it in the shower (for best results) and make it a habit to follow this once a day, regularly. Simply cut out a slice of potato and rub it on the pigmented areas of your skin and let it sit for 10 minutes or more. For dark circles, you can cut out a small piece and place under your eyes while the residue sits. Rinse off and pat dry. For added benefits, add in a pinch turmeric before rubbing.

POTATO AND TOMATO MASK

This is great done twice-thrice a week and is rich in vitamin C. Simply add diced potato to a blender along with equal quantity of tomato and blend it well. Transfer to a bowl and apply on cleansed skin. Let it sit for 20 minutes and rinse off.

POTATO MILK MASK

This is great done twice-thrice a week. You need sheet mask capsules for this or just a plain paper towel or tissue paper is fine. Blend fresh potato and squeeze out all the juice. Add in some milk and mix. Let the sheet mask capsule or tissue paper soak in the juice and place it on your skin. Let it sit for 30 minutes and rinse off.

POTATO AND HONEY MASK

This is great done twice-thrice a week. Simply add diced potato to a blender and blend it well. Transfer to a bowl and add in some raw honey. Mix and apply on cleansed skin. Let it sit for 20 minutes and rinse off.
