Packaging:
The kama ayurveda night cream comes in a sturdy luxurious looking glass jar. The jar is definitely travel-friendly and the pack comes with a wooden spatula which I love.
Texture:
The cream is quite thick yet blends beautifully and seeps into the skin with little massaging. Sets demi-matte which my combination skin loves. Even if you have normal to dry skin, you would love the texture.
Fragrance:
The cream has a slight saffron kheer-like fragrance which I love.
How I use and after-effects:
I use this cream as a last step in my night time skin care routine. Simply take a small amount (I sometimes take a dollop for a nice moisturizing treatment) and massage on facial skin. do not forget the area around eyes and neck. Massage until it is well absorbed. Let it work overnight.
I have finished almost 7-8 tubs of this night cream and I am religiously using this for years! You might have already gotten the idea on how much I love this night cream. The first few things that kept me going back to this is its dime-matte finish and that incredible glow every morning. When I first started using this, I absolutely had no expectations from it apart from the morning glow and hopes that this might someday help because that’s how long ayurvedic formulations take to show results! I kept using it for months, then got another jar and before I finished the third jar, I started seeing visible radiance, reduces frequency of breakouts and fading of dark spots.
It definitely did not transform my skin overnight but it surely improved the overall quality of my skin. I can see a visible lightening of dark spots, sun tan and complexion looks more even toned. The product also works for dark circles and helps improve the overall eye area. I also did notice that the frequency of comedones and breakouts reduces considerably.
Overall, this is my holy grail and I swear by it. I feel this is an incredible night cream formulation. It is expensive but it is so worth it. Highly recommend.
