BENEFITS OF INGREDIENTS USED IN TURMERIC DEODORANT-
Shea Butter
Shea butter has amazing moisturising and hydrating properties and it keeps your skin super soft and smooth. It is non-comedogenic and it also makes a great butter base in the recipe. Also helps with chicken skin and dryness caused due to friction. Keeps your skin smoother and softer.
Baking Soda
Helps fight odour, inhibits bacterial and fungal growth and freshens your armpits. Masks pungent smell and keeps underarms dry.
Wild Turmeric
While turmeric does not stain as much as regular cooking turmeric and is used specifically for beauty purposes. It has healing, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and antimicrobial properties that keep your underarms healthy and free of any bumps and acne. Inhibits odour causing bacteria and keeps your underarms clean and fresh. Even out skin tone and brightens gradually.
Turmeric Oil
Turmeric oil in combination with wild turmeric works great in brightening your underarms and lightening any pigmentation. It also contains essential fatty acids that moisturise and soften your armpits. Inhibits odour causing bacteria and also has healing and softening properties.
METHOD-
Things you need-
- 4 tablespoons Soft Shea Butter
- 1 tablespoon Wild Turmeric Powder
- 1-2 teaspoons Turmeric Oil
- 2 tablespoons Baking Soda
- Few drops Any Fragrant Essential Oil
Directions-
To make this turmeric deodorant, mix together shea butter and turmeric oil and place it in the microwave for 2 to 3 seconds so that it is easy to whip. Add in baking soda and wild turmeric powder and whip until fluffy. Add in any fragrant essential oil that you like, preferably rose essential oil, orange essential oil or lavender essential oil. Mix it well and transfer it to an easy-to-use jar. To use, take a small quantity on your fingertips and massage it on your underarms until fully absorbed after a shower.

- Do not expect instant results, stick to a routine for a longer period for it to work.
