Facial hair is something we all have and it is nothing to be ashamed of! Body and facial hair is natural and it all depends on how you look at it and whether you are comfortable with it. Some have very negligible growth while some have coarse thicker hair and it all depends on hormones and genes. If you have peach fuzz on the face and don’t really require shaving or waxing, you are one of those lucky hair-free girls out there! But, if you still want to be completely hair-free, here is an ayurvedic way to gradually reduce your peach fuzz that shamelessly show up in the sunlight and in close up pictures!
RECIPE 1:
Things you need:
For this particular recipe, you need 2 tablespoons wheat flour, ¼ teaspoon wild turmeric and enough water to make a spreadable paste.
Method:
In a bowl, add wheat flour, wild turmeric powder and enough water to make a spreadable creamy paste. Cleanse your facial skin using a mild cleanser and pat dry. Apply this mask on your face making sure you do not apply on eyebrows and side locks. Let it completely dry and massage your face with dry hands gently to scrape off the mask. Rinse the residue and follow up with a moisturizing cream or facial oil.

Things you need:
For this particular recipe, you need 2 tablespoons wheat flour, ¼ teaspoon wild turmeric, few drops lemon and enough yogurt to make a spreadable paste.
Method:
In a bowl, add wheat flour, wild turmeric powder, lemon juice and enough yogurt to make a spreadable creamy paste. Cleanse your facial skin using a mild cleanser and pat dry. Apply this mask on your face making sure you do not apply on eyebrows and side locks. Let it completely dry and massage your face with dry hands gently to scrape off the mask. Rinse off the residue, pat dry and follow up with a facial oil or any moisturizing cream.
Note-
- This remedy is used commonly in India to reduce peach fuzz gradually and there are also a lot of documentation on this ayurvedic way of hair removal. Massaging or scraping off the mask is also partially responsible for reducing hair growth gradually.
- This is a gradual process and results aren’t instant. Use it 2- 3 times a week at least to see any effect and also to maintain the results.
- This wouldn’t work on thick coarse hair. This method is only for fine peach fuzz.
- Do not try this on broken or super sensitive skin.
