PIXI Beauty recently sent over their entire Hydrating Milky Collection which makes an entire 6-step skin care routine. I tried them out and thought why not review it for you guys! The milky collection is said to be suitable for all skin types and has properties like hydrating, soothing, nourishing etc. Below is my first impressions/review on this range-
MY TAKE ON PIXI HYDRATING MILKY COLLECTION
HYDRATING MILKY MAKEUP REMOVER
The pixie hydrating milky make up remover is like a bi-phased make up removing milk and contains coconut and probiotics. You need to shake it really well and saturate a cotton pad with this solution. Swipe it across your face very gently. I really love the fact that the lid flips open and you don’t even have to tilt the bottle to remove the product. It has a dispensing thingy on the top where in you just place the cotton pad and press. The make up remover removes make up very efficiently including waterproof mascara and the glitter eyeshadow. It does not make your skin feel greasy even if it is a bi-phased make up remover and skin feels moisturised.

HYDRATING MILKY CLEANSER
The hydrating milky cleanser is a soothing cleansing cream that lathers really well upon massaging on damp skin. You just need a very small quantity, massage it on damp skin for a few minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm or cold water. The milky cleanser contains coconut and probiotics and does not dry out your skin like regular face washes which is a plus point. It is a rich moisturising cleanser that conditions and moisturisers at the same time along with unclogging pores and cleansing your skin. The face wash is a little bit expensive and you can get similar kind of face washe in the market for a much lower price but if you want to splurge, go ahead and get this face wash, I give this a thumbs up.

HYDRATING MILKY PEEL
This hydrating milky peel is a gentle exfoliating cream that contains natural cellulose that is rich in moisture and helps clear off dead skin cells. You need to apply a thin layer all over your facial skin avoiding eye area and leave it on for 2 to 3 minutes.
I like to leave it on for four minutes or so and then I gently massage with dam fingers and rinse it off. As you massage your skin, the cellulose particles are activated and they gently exfoliate leaving behind smoother and softer skin. If you have used the innisfree wine peeling jelly, this is quite a similar product but the results are even better.

MILKY TONIC
This milky tonic contains jojoba, milk and oats and has soothing properties. It is a calming and hydrating tonic that is enriched to comfort your complexion and is infused with oat extract to help soothe and balance. If you have sensitive or irritated skin or even if you have acne prone skin, this is a must have. I saturate a cotton pad with this milky tonic and swipe it across my facial skin and neck. It leaves behind a beautiful dewy glow and does not feel sticky or tacky at all.

HYDRATING MILKY SERUM
The pixie hydrating milky serum has revitalising properties that gives your skin a boost of moisture and freshness. It is super nourishing and deeply moisturisers your skin and is great for all skin types including sensitive skin. It contains botanical extracts and vitamin E that helps protect nourish and strengthen skin. Can be used during the day time and also before night time and I love using it specially at night. You need to massage 2 to 3 drops onto cleanse and toned skin until fully absorbed and then follow up with your night cream or moisturiser. The serum does not leave behind any greasiness which I really love about this serum. I have combination skin and most serums look a little greasy and oily on my skin but this one does not. It does make my skin look very glow and skin feels super soft to touch.

HYDRATING MILKY LOTION
This hydrating milky lotion can be used on face and body both. It is enriched with coconut and shea butter and deeply hydrates your skin. What I love about this lotion is that it is super lightweight yet it moisturises so well and does not make my skin feel or look greasy. I use it during my a.m. and p.m. routine both and also under my make up and it has worked perfectly fine. A little goes a long way and you get 135 ml of the product so it is worth it. If you use it for your body, It will get over sooner.

CONCLUSION:
The pixi hydrating milky collection is great for all skin types and has great calming and soothing properties. would suit acne prone skin and work exceptionally well for acne in fact and help soothe breakouts and inflammation. The products are a bit pricey but all worth it!
