If you love using DIY remedies, you might have already tried using egg mask for both your skin and hair. I have used eggs so many times in my beauty routine and absolutely love using them. Not only does it make my hair super silky and shiny but it also makes my skin feel and look more tighter, smoother and brighter. WAYS TO USE EGG FOR BEAUTIFUL SKIN AND HAIR:

Pore Tightening 

To make this pore tightening mask, mix together enough egg white and rice flour to make a smooth paste. Apply this paste on your facial skin and neck and let it completely dry before you rinse it off. This mask can be a little drying so follow up with a good moisturiser. It helps tighten pores and give your skin a lot smoother and pore-less natural finish.

Shiny Hair 

To make this mask for shiny and glossy hair, you need one or two whole eggs and equal quantity of thick yoghurt or greek yogurt. The quantity of this mask depends on your hair length and volume. Mix both the ingredients very thoroughly using a hand mixer or a whipper And apply an even layer on your hair length and scalp as well. Let it sit for two hours before you use a shampoo. Let your hair naturally dry and use this mask once a week. The mask adds a reflective shine to your hair, makes it look super healthy and glossy and also strengthens the roots.

Hair Cleanser 

To make hair cleanser, add one or two egg whites to half cup of liquid Castile soap and your shampoo is ready! It is really that simple. You cannot store this so make sure you make fresh before using. Use this as your regular shampoo and keep it on your hair for a few minutes before you wash it off. Follow up with a regular conditioner. Not only does it help cleanse your scalp and hair but it also adds a reflective shine and makes your hairs super healthy.

Brighter Skin 

Combination of sugar that contains natural glycolic acid and egg whites can even out your skin tone and make it look a little brighter due to exfoliation and reduced tan as well. Add a tablespoon of sugar powder to one egg white and whip until fluffy. Apply this bubble mask on your facial skin and neck and let it sit for 30 minutes before you wash it off. Follow up with a moisturiser.

Hair Damage Repair 

If you have chemically damaged or super dry hair, you can try this mask. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of raw honey to 2 whole eggs and mix it really well. Apply and even layer on your scalp and hair length concentrating on the hair ends. Wear a shower cap and let your hair marinate for two hours. Use your regular shampoo and condition as usual.

Oily Scalp 

If you feel your scalp is oily and greasy, you can use this scalp scrub that contains clay and egg whites. Simply add a tablespoon or so of bentonite clay to 2 egg whites and mix it really well. Add in some rose water if you want to thin out the consistency. Massage this on your scalp before you use a shampoo.

Oily skin 

If you have oily to combination skin type, you can use this clay based egg facial mask. Add a tablespoon of kaolin clay to 2 egg whites and mix it really well. Apply an even layer on your facial skin and neck and let it completely dry before you rinse it off. Follow up with a moisturizer.

Anti-ageing

This particular mask is great for ageing skin and also for skin that is dry. You need to add a tablespoon of rosehip carrier oil to 2 egg yolks and mix it well. This mask is going to stink but it works perfectly well for the skin and the smell vanishes once the mask is off. Mix the ingredients until creamy and apply it on your facial skin and neck. Let it sit for 30 minutes before you wash it off. Follow up with a moisturiser.
