Turmeric is very beneficial and a very natural ingredient that has anti-septic and healing properties. Making the 2-ingredient masks are very simple and easy. Let’s check out the 2-ingredient turmeric beauty recipes-

Yogurt and turmeric – Tan removal mask

Turmeric and greek yogurt is a great combination for pigmented and tanned skin. Yogurt is known for soothing sun burns. Mix 1 to 2 tbsp of yogurt with turmeric as per your convenience and apply to the affected areas of body to get rid off tan. Keep it for 10 to 15mins and then wash it off. It’s a great source of antioxidants that promotes healthier and glowing skin. 

Potato juice and turmeric – Pigmentation Mask

Starch present in the potato has excellent properties in reducing pigmentation, blemishes, dark spots, acne and even diminishes the dark circles under eyes. Peel off the skin of potato, grate and squeeze it to extract the juice and add pinch of turmeric and give it to good mix. Take a cotton ball, dip and apply over the face. Keep the mask on for 15 mins and then wash it off. Turmeric is known to even out your skin tone and adds its additional properties to give a glow.

Aloe vera and turmeric – Anti-acne serum

The soothing and anti-inflammatory properties in aloe vera can treat acne in a matter of few days, provided it suits you and used religiously. Aloe vera gel is also helpful in fading the scars caused by acne and it is also quite hydrating. Mix 1 to 2 tbsp of commercial aloe vera gel with pinch wild turmeric or as per your requirements and apply all over the face as an overnight serum or use it as a spot treatment.

Rosehip oil and turmeric – Skin glow oil

Rosehip oil has numerous benefits when it comes to skincare. It moisturizes the skin, protects skin from skin damage, hydrates etc. Rosehip oil and turmeric together exfoliates skin, nourish and provides a brighter complexion by restoring your original skin tone. Mix together 3 tablespoons reship oil and 1 teaspoon turmeric oil. Mix and store in a dropper bottle. Massage a few drops of this face oil before bedtime.

Shea Butter and turmeric – Beautifying night cream 

Shea butter is the great source of ingredient when treating dry skin, heals wounds, fades scars etc. Turmeric and shea butter together provides a great benefits like they reduce fine and wrinkles, restores the natural elasticity of the skin, treats acne and blemishes. Add a pinch of turmeric to the half tsp of shea butter and give it a good mix. Apply this night cream and leave it overnight. Wash it in the morning. You can also make a bigger batch and store in an air-tight jar.

 Sweet almond oil and turmeric – Brightening face massage oil

Almond oil is known for its moisturising properties, improves complexion and evens out skin tone. Mix 1 to 2 tbsp of sweet almond oil and a pinch of turmeric. Apply it evenly all over the face and massage really well. Wash it after the 20mins.

Apple cider vinegar and turmeric – Acne scar mask 

Apple cider vinegar is used to balance the skin’s pH level, reduces infections and has anti-inflammatory properties. To diluted apple cider vinegar, add a pinch of turmeric. Give it a good mix and take cotton ball to apply it all over the face. Wash it off after 15 mins. On a regular usage this fades acne scars caused due to recent breakouts.

Sugar/Oats and turmeric – Body acne scrub 

Sugar is known for its rejuvenating properties. Fine sugar removes dead cells and exfoliates the skin very well. Mix fine sugar with turmeric infused oil (jojoba or any oil that suits you). Apply it before you going to bath and scrub it really well. After taking bath apply any body butter to moisture. If you have sensitive skin and active body acne, use oats instead of sugar.

Banana and turmeric – Dry skin mask

Dry skin is hurtful be it in winter or summer. Nourishing the skin plays the key role here. Banana helps moisturizing the skin which is very necessary. Turmeric oil helps neutralise the free radicals and has healing properties hence treats dry skin. Mash half banana well and add few drops turmeric oil. Apply this mask all over the face and wash it off after 20 to 25 mins.
