10 WEIGHT LOSS CONCOCTIONS YOU NEED TO TRY:

Green Tea Mint:

Green tea  contains caffeine and antioxidants which helps in releasing weight . Caffeine is a stimulant known to speed up metabolism  and to gives enrgy while  performing exercise. A cup of green tea contains 24-40 mg of caffeine. Green tea also has a another powerful ingredient which act as a  antioxidant called epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG)—metabolism booster—which can help to shed off excess fat in the body.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup/250 ml of hot water
  • 6-7 mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp green tea leaves
  • 1 whole lemon
Preparation
  1. Take 1 cup hot water
  2. add green tea leaves, mint leaves, squeeze the lemon.
  3. Allow them to soak for a minimum of five minutes.
  4. Remove the leaves with the help of a strainer and pour it into a cup.
  5. Drink while it is hot.

Apple cider vinegar

The key ingredient which helps in loosing weight with the help of apple cider vinegar is acetic acid. Acetic acid decrease insulin levels and help control food cravings. Adding a few spoons of it to your drinks could help you feel fuller, longer. You can add lemon as well along with apple cider vinegar. You can drink a tablespoon of ACV diluted in eight ounces of water up to twice a day, ideally, before or with a meal. 

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
  • A cup of water
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)
Preparation
  1. Pour lemon juice and apple cider vinegar to the glass of water. 
  2. Mix all the ingredients with a spoon for at least a minute, before consuming it.

Ginger lemon water

Ginger and lemon when consumed together can give your metabolism a great boost. Lemon juice and ginger both act as an appetite suppressant, which stops you from unnecessary binging and thus help you lose weight.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup/250 ml of cold water
  • ¾ tsp of roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tsp of lime juice
  • 1 inch of ginger root
Preparation
  1. Cut the ginger into small pieces.
  2. Add it to a blender, along with cold water.
  3. Blend these ingredients until it becomes smooth.
  4. Pour the ginger water into a glass.
  5. Add roasted cumin powder and lime juice.
  6. Mix the ingredients well before consuming

Cumin water

Add a teaspoon of jeera in a glass of water and leave it overnight. In the morning, remove the seeds and drink the water on an empty stomach. It is best if you use the copper vessel for soaking the cumin.

Ingredients:
  1. Cumin 1 teaspoon
  2. One glass of water
Preparation:
  1. Soak jeera water overnight in a glass of water
  2. Consume it next day on empty stomach

Cinnamon Honey Mix

Cinnamon helps you lose visceral fat and supports weight loss. Combining honey and cinnamon can induce quick weight loss. So if you want to loose weight around your waist then try this recipe of cinnamon honey mix.

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1 cup or 250 ml of warm water
Preparation
  1. Heat water and add cinnamon to it.
  2. Before you add honey to water, make sure you cool it down for at least half an hour. The heat deactivates the powerful enzymes present in honey.
  3. Mix the ingredients and consume this beverage.

Grapefruit Cucumber Water

No wonder grapefruit is the number one dieter’s fruit! It also increases your sensitivity to Insulin thus stabilizing blood sugar. This detox water recipe includes cucumbers that helps your body to release water which helps in reducing bloating.

Ingredients
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • A medium-sized grapefruit
  • 250 ml of water
Preparation
  1. Cut all the ingredients.
  2. Add them to a blender, along with water.
  3. Blend everything until it becomes smooth

Ajwain (Carom seeds) water

In Ayurvedic practices, ajwain or carom seeds helps in indigestion problems which can contribute to reduce  bloating and in-turn helps wit weight loss. 

Ingredients:
  1. 2 tsp carom seeds
  2. one glass of water
How to prepare:
  1. Just soak 2 tsp of dry roasted Ajwain seeds in a cup of water overnight.
  2. You could boil this water, strain, wait for it to cool down and then have it, or, simply mix the water well next morning, strain the water and have it on an empty stomach. In the mornings our metabolic rate is very high; this   beverage could set the metabolism racing.

Fenugreek Water

Fenugreek seeds called methi seeds as well have a variety of health benefits counting from regulating the blood sugar levels to digestive prosblems, bloating and constipation. However, not a lot of people are aware that this magical methi dana (fenugreek seed) can also help you lose weight. Methi dana not only helps in above mentioned problems but it has all essential nutrients including vitamin A, vitamin D, iron, and soluble and insoluble fibres. 

Ingredients :
  1. 1-2 tablespoons Fenugreek seeds
  2. Glass of water
Preparation:
  1. Soak fenugreek seeds overnight in a glass of water
  2. Consume the soaked water next day in the morning on empty stomach

Saunf (Fennel ) Seeds

Saunf called fennel in English is a traditional remedy to get rid of bloating and indigestion. With the diuretic properties fennel seeds helps to detoxify body. Detoxification ultimately results in weight loss. 

Ingredients :
  1. Fennel seeds 1 tablespoon
  2. Glass of water
How to prepare
  1. To make fennel seed water, mix a teaspoon of fennel seed in water and leave it overnight. 
  2. Strain and drink the water the next morning.

Citrus drink for weight loss

Grapefruit helps in maintaining insulin levels. Pomegranates help reduce inflammation, regulates blood pressure, lowers bad cholesterol, hyperglycemia. All these directly or indirectly lead to weight loss. Organic honey helps to prevent gut problems, improve cardiovascular health, and reduces inflammation.

Ingredients :
  1. ½ cup grapefruit
  2. ½ cup pomegranate
  3. 1 teaspoon organic honey
  4. Pinch of salt
How To Prepare
  1. Throw in the grapefruit and pomegranate into blender.
  2. Give it a spin and pour it into a glass.
  3. Add honey and a pinch of black salt.
  4. Stir well before drinking.
