Eucalyptus Oil Steam
Eucalyptus oil helps with congested nose and it also has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. All you need to do is add a few drops of this eucalyptus essential oil in hot steaming water and inhale the steam for 5 to 10 minutes. This is best done before bedtime.
Golden Milk
Golden milk is quite known for its healing, immunity boosting and antimicrobial properties. Golden milk also called as turmeric milk is quite popular in India and it is super easy to make. To make golden milk, you need 1 cup of any milk of your choice, a teaspoon of turmeric, pinch of black pepper and honey as per taste. Combine all the ingredients and bring it to a boil. Pour this golden milk in a serving glass and sip on it slowly while it is still hot.

Ginger Tea
Ginger tea has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. It also helps boost immunity and improve body’s resistance mechanism. To make ginger tea, add 1 inch ginger sliced in one cup of water and let it simmer on low flame for 10 minutes with the lid. Strain and add in honey as per taste and sip on it while it is still warm.
Flu Shot
To make cold and flu shot, add 2 medium-sized ginger sliced in one cup of water along with 3 to 4 crushed garlic petals and 2 tablespoons of honey. Add in a saucepan and cook it for 15 to 20 minutes with the lid on it. Mash all the ingredients together and strain out the concentrated solution. Consume this flu shot, if you wish you can also dilute it with some more water.
Honey Ginger Syrup
To make this immunity boosting and anti-inflammatory honey ginger syrup, all you need to do is grate 3 medium sized ginger and add it to half cup of raw organic honey. Transfer it to an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for one week. Have a tablespoon this straight up 2 to 3 times a day. Alternatively, you can also mix this with warm water and drink it.
Apple Cider Vinegar water
Apple cider vinegar has anti-inflammatory and immunity boosting properties. It also helps balance internal pH and help fight mild infections and allergies. All you need to do is add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to 1 cup of hot water and drink this.
Inhalation Oil Blend
You can mix equal quantities of almond and coconut oil and add in few drops each of eucalyptus oil, peppermint essential oil, tea tree oil and lemon oil. Add in a camphor tablet if you have. Mix this and transfer it to an easy to use dropper bottle. Add a few drops of this oil blend on your handkerchief and sniff it throughout the day.
Hot Soup
Hot soups are a great way to relieve a congested nose and also to relax your nasal passage. You can have hot chicken or spinach soup or any healthy soup that you like. For added benefits, add in a little extra ginger and black pepper.
Vitamin C Drink
Vitamin C helps boost immunity and wards of invading pathogens. To make the super potent vitamin C drink, all you need to do is squeeze half a lemon in one cup of warm water along with some honey and a pinch of black salt. Also add in some orange juice if you have and drink this delicious vitamin C drink.
Garlic Syrup
To make this anti-inflammatory and immunity boosting garlic syrup, all you need to do is fill a jar with raw organic honey and add in half teaspoon of black pepper and handful of garlic petals. Mix it really well and refrigerate it for a week. Have this syrup straight from the jar few times a day.
