Amla (Indian Gooseberry)
They have been a lot of research studies on Indian gooseberry benefits for hair growth. Amla contains vital nutrients, minerals and essential vitamins that help in boosting scalp circulation that in turn helps stimulate a healthy hair growth. It is also rich in vitamin C that helps improve the collagen protein and this helps in hair growth. Amla not only helps grow hair length wise but also volume wise and makes it bouncy and thicker gradually.
Black Tea
Along with boosting hair growth, black tea also helps reduce hair shedding and hair fall. It nourishes the scalp and hair follicles and boost scalp circulation. Black tea strengthens hair follicles and keeps them firmly rooted to the scalp. Nourishes and strengthens hair strands and make them grow longer and stronger. If you have dark hair, black tea will help deepen the shade. If you are blonde, be a little careful while using black tea. You can use chamomile tea as well.
Rosemary Essential Oil
Rosemary essential oil is known for its high growth boosting properties and it makes a very important ingredient in this recipe. Not only does it help boost hair growth and prevent hair loss but it also helps prevent premature greying. Rosemary is also great for itchy scalp and dandruff.
METHOD:
Things you need-
- 4-5 tablespoons Amla Powder
- Enough brewed Black Tea
- 5-6 drops Rosemary Essential Oil
Directions-
To make this hair growth mask, you need Amla powder. If you do not have store bought powder, you can dry fresh Amla under this sunlight and then grind it to make fine powder. To this powder, add black tea and rosemary essential oil. Again, if you do not have rosemary essential oil you can simply use rosemary tea. Just make sure that the rosemary tea is very concentrated and is not more than 2 tablespoons. Mix it all really well and let it activate for about 30 minutes. Apply this on your scalp and hair and let it sit for one hour or so. Wash your hair as a normally would and use a conditioner. Use this mask once a week.
